Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota, has admitted he is looking forward to seeing fans inside Anfield for the first time this weekend against former club, Wolves.
Jota has been a revelation since arriving in the summer, becoming an integral part of the Liverpool attack under Jurgen Klopp.

However, the Portuguese forward has yet to discover what it’s like playing in front of a full house at Anfield. That, of course, remains a while off, although 2000 fans will be in attendance this weekend.
And Jota concedes that he and the players are missing it, calling it The Anfield Effect. (Sky Sports, via LFC Official)
“Football without fans is strange. Obviously when you play for a club like Liverpool that has one of the best atmospheres in the world, it just feels like something is missing.
“We have a lot of these conversations with the staff and even with the players [on] the things I am missing. Feeling the Anfield effect is the thing I’m looking forward [to] most.”
The Reds speedster will be hoping to get one over his former employers this weekend. Since arriving for around £45m on a reported £90k-a-week contract, Jota has scored an impressive nine goals, including five in the Premier League.

Nothing seems to faze the Liverpool man it and he looks like one of those players that could get an even bigger buzz off playing in front of a full house at Liverpool.

The Anfield atmosphere, whether you like it or not, is a special one. Jota, then, could become even better than he is at the moment.
Seeing supporters back this weekend will be a relief for everyone and, hopefully, football can build on this going forward into the coming months.
