Having gone down from a set piece once again, Liverpool fought back despite losing Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren to injuries. Such fighting spirit showed that the Merseyside club could produce the goods against the teams who sit back to defend as well as the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, and would eventually cost Francesco Guidolin his job.
