Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has issued a Champions League warning to Liverpool.
The Frenchman has told the Daily Express that if the two teams meet, Madrid will prevail and reach the last eight.
Liverpool qualified for the next stage as group winners, beating Salzburg on Tuesday night.

The Spanish outfit came second behind PSG in their group and that could mean a round of 16 showdown for Zidane and Jurgen Klopp.
Zidane isn’t fazed by the prospect of facing the Reds, however, and he told the Daily Express: “If we play Liverpool, we will eliminate them! We can’t do anything about the draw though.”
A match between Madrid and Liverpool would certainly be one not to miss.
Both sides are flying in their respective leagues and the game would see a repeat of the 2017/18 Champions League final.
Madrid won on that occasion and Liverpool would be out for retribution if they were handed the chance to avenge the defeat.

Zidane might have meant the comments to be somewhat tongue in cheek, although Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter.
Some aren’t happy with his mention of Liverpool in his press conference and now hope the pair are drawn together.
