Liverpool should avoid offloading midfielder Fabinho at all costs in January amid interest from Serie A club AC Milan.
According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, Milan are keen on the Brazilian as they search across Europe for a midfield enforcer.
Fabinho has not had the greatest of starts to life at Anfield since he joined in the summer from Monaco for £43.7million (Sky Sports), but giving up on him by January would be dreadful.
The 25-year-old was a fringe man in the opening months for the Merseyside club and found himself stuck down the pecking order.
But Jurgen Klopp has slowly integrated him and he’s beginning to pick up the style of English football, with Klopp starting him in the last three consecutive Premier League games.

Fabinho, who earns £100,000-a-week (Spotrac), certainly still has some way to go if he wants to justify his price tag.
But he’s a no-nonsense defensive midfielder that is strong in the tackle and looks a tidy player in the centre of the park.
Liverpool will need the full depth of their squad if they are to win silverware this season and Fabhino can certainly have an important role to play, which is why ignoring any potential AC Milan interest would be the sensible way to act.
