Liverpool are planning for the summer and are now reportedly keen on signing Valencia midfielder, Carlos Soler.
According to Spanish media outlet Golsmedia, Soler is on the radar of Jurgen Klopp as he will be into the last 12 months of his contract when the summer months roll around.

Soler, 25, has been instrumental for Valencia over the past number of seasons. In that time, he’s made more than 200 appearances for the La Liga side, winning the Spanish Cup and also being part of Spain’s successful under-21 side which won the European Championships.
Golsedia claims that Liverpool have made firm contact with Soler’s entourage as they look to get a deal over the line.
Valencia previously valued Soler around the £36m mark in 2020. However, with his contract dwindling down, it’s hard to see the Spanish side being able to command a fee in that region now. Highly-rated in Spain, his international teammate Ferran Torres called him the ‘complete player’ previously.
Soler is thought to have a whopping £140m release clause in his contract.
TBR’s View: Soler Looks Ideal For Liverpool
There is a point coming where Liverpool need to ensure they bring some midfielders in and Soler certainly ticks a lot of boxes for the Reds.
He is now part of the Spanish squad full-time and with over 200 appearances for Valencia, the experience is there. The Spaniard also has some versatility to his game which Jurgen Klopp will like. He can play in the middle of the park or even further back if needed, but is more than capable on the inside left and right of midfield. In a 4-3-3, you’d have to say he’s ideal for Liverpool.
If a deal is there to be done at a lower rate than that £36m, then this is a signing that makes sense for Liverpool.
