Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Jordan Henderson will miss today’s Merseyside derby trip to Everton.
The Reds are awaiting further information on the hamstring injury he picked up earlier this week.
Henderson was forced off during the second half of the midweek victory over Newcastle United at Anfield.

On Friday, the Liverpool media team asked Klopp whether they had any updates on the £190,000-a-week star.
“Nothing yet,” the Reds boss replied.
“We are still waiting for the result, to be honest.
“It was now only 12.30 or so; I asked before I came here and [we] didn’t get a result yet.
“He is definitely out, he is injured, but the extent I don’t know.”
Liverpool are currently experiencing an injury crisis in midfield.
As well as Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita and Thiago Alcantara all nursing injuries.
In addition, new signing Arthur Melo is not expected to be eligible to play until next week.
“Gets closer”
On a more positive note, Curtis Jones did return to the Liverpool matchday squad in midweek.
In addition, Diogo Jota is back in training and Darwin Nunez has served his three-match suspension.
Thiago Alcantara and Ibrahima Konate are also close to making their respective comebacks.
“Thiago is the closest of all, I think the start of next week he will be in team training,” Klopp also said.

“Ibou is not too far away, in and around the international break he will be back in training.
“Naby (Keita) is a muscle injury, Ox (Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain) is a muscle injury and obviously they will be out for a while.
“Calvin Ramsay is still out but really getting closer, for him some of it is to do with his back and something to do with age and growing.
“He hasn’t trained properly with us yet but he gets closer.”
