Liverpool have a number of top players in the ranks at the moment and one of their international midfielders has been lauded for his abilities.
The Reds have started well under Arne Slot and just like under Jurgen Klopp, the midfield has been key.
The summer of 2023 saw Liverpool spend big money on the middle of the park as they landed Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.
All three have played their part, albeit Gravenberch is very much only just working his way into being a first-team regular.
However, it is Gravenberch who has been impressing this international break and according to Vitesse Arnhem coach Theo Janssen, Gravenberch is the real deal.

Ryan Gravenberch told he will play for the Netherlands for the next decade
Speaking to Voetbal Primeur, Janssen lauded the Liverpool midfielder and believes he will be with the Dutch national team for years to come.
“I think the hype around Gravenberch is justified. I think he’s a really good player. He actually has everything you would expect from a midfielder,” Janssen said.
“He is quite large, strong and technically skilled. He likes to play football forward and also has the ability to play out to players. If he wants to play forward and the space is there, he always plays forward.
”He can sit with his feet in between and then he is moving forward again. He does that with such ease. He has a fantastic running ability and he can defend great.
“This is a midfielder that we will see in the base at the Dutch national team for the next 10 years.”
Liverpool will want more from Gravenberch
Nobody is doubting the talent the Dutch midfielder has but up until very recently, he’s not really shown it in a Liverpool shirt.
Now, though, he does seem to be getting his chance under Arne Slot and is doing a good job of showing everyone what he’s all about.
This sort of praise from Janssen is exactly what those at Anfield will want to hear and Liverpool fans, too, will be hoping this is further evidence of Gravenberch of being the midfielder they’ve craved for years.
