Liverpool are reportedly ready to enter the race to sign their former attacker Suso from AC Milan, according to Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb.
The Reds will enter a battle with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham to land the player who has a release clause of £33 million (Talk Sport).
Suso departed Anfield to sign for the Milanese giants in 2015 and a move back to Liverpool would certainly represent a surprise, considering his form during his first spell.

During 34 appearances in Italy’s top-flight last season, he netted seven goals and registered nine assists. The last three seasons have seen him become a top player for Milan, featuring more often than not and nailing down a spot in the team.
Liverpool finished the Premier League campaign with 97 points this season, finishing runners-up to Manchester City. On that basis, it’s fair to say they will opt for quality over quantity during the summer transfer market.
TBR Verdict
Typically playing as a right-winger could make Suso a different proposition for Liverpool this time around.
Klopp likes his forwards to be energetic and the 25-year-old possesses energy in abundance. One of the things he earned praise from last time around at Anfield was his ability to put a shift in for the team.

Suso would be unlikely to oust Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino or Sadio Mane from the team, but he would offer a genuine piece of quality from the bench.
In today’s market £33 million doesn’t really seem a big deal either, particularly for a club like Liverpool.
