Liverpool supporters react as Houssem Aouar posts on Twitter amid exit reports

Liverpool are one of a number of clubs reportedly after Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar this summer, and Reds supporters have reacted in their drones to the player’s Tweet – amid reports Lyon are willing to cash in on the impressive talent.

Aouar, 21, has been in stunning form for Lyon this season – continuing to grow his already burgeoning reputation. Netting nine goals form midfield, Aouar has also laid on seven assists, even scoring and creating three in the Champions League.

The Sun have claimed that Liverpool have taken note of the uncapped French midfielder’s excellent form, and are keen to bring him to Anfield in the coming months. However, they are not alone in their pursuit, with Arsenal and Manchester City also keen.

Just this week, French newspaper L’Equipe has claimed that Aouar could be sold by Lyon in order for the French club to remain financially stable – with the French government suspending football until September. Aouar posted on Twitter, after the report.

The latest report from France states that interested parties can land Aouar for a bargain fee of just £43million this summer, which will still prove to be a huge profit for Lyon – given that Aouar is a product of their esteemed academy system.

Liverpool supporters responded to Aouar’s Tweet amid reports Jurgen Klopp is keen on the midfielder, and that he will be sold by the Ligue 1 side in the coming months. Many have urged him to move to Anfield.
