Liverpool supporters react as Hertha Berlin could reportedly re-sign Marko Grujic

Hertha Berlin could reportedly look to re-sign Marko Grujic from Liverpool this summer on a loan-to-buy deal, with the Serbian having spent the past two seasons at Hertha – and Liverpool supporters have reacted.

Grujic, 24, has become a crucial part of Hertha’s side over the past couple of seasons – having initially joined for the 2018-19 season and then rejoining during the summer of 2019 for a third season.

He clocked up 54 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit – having a hand in 12 goals, scoring nine himself. He has now returned to Anfield, but his future remains in doubt.

German newspaper Bild claim that Hertha are keeping an eye on Grujic’s future and are keen to sign the midfielder on a third loan spell. This loan, though, would include a permanent £13million clause.

The report also claims that Grujic has bought an apartment in Germany’s capital and has fallen in love with the Bundesliga side. It remains to be seen if Liverpool are to give Grujic a chance, or let him go.

Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Grujic is a target once again for Hertha Berlin, and that he could now join them permanently – even if a move is an initial loan spell.
