Liverpool star responds hilariously when asked if he would rather play alongside Ronaldo or Messi

Trent Alexander-Arnold has responded hilariously to a Liverpool supporter when asked if he would rather play alongside Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo or Barcelona legend Lionel Messi – responding “Hendo”.

The Liverpool academy product, 21, chose to hold a Q&A session on his official Twitter account after surpassing 1million followers. He was very busy, answering 27 questions from supporters in the space of an hour.

The nine-time England star is now considered one of the best players in the world after helping Liverpool win the Champions League last season, and has played a pivotal part with Liverpool expected to end their wait for a Premier League title.

But Messi and Ronaldo remain the top two in the world right now, even with Ronaldo now turning 35 earlier this week. The Juve star has scored 23 goals in 28 games this season, with 723 professional goals – including Portugal.

Meanwhile, Messi has hit the headlines of late due to a spat with director and former player Eric Abidal. The dimuntive icon is said to be allowed to leave Barca due to a clause this summer, for nothing – but it remains to be seen if he will ever leave Barca.

Alexander-Arnold was asked if he would play alongside either the Argentine, or the Portuguese star. He responded, answering Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, which will undoubtedly delight Reds supporters.
