Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp put the Reds players through their paces in training at Kirkby.
The Anfield outfit was due to play Leeds on Boxing Day, but that Premier League game has been postponed.
This is due to the rising number of covid cases in the Elland Road camp.

That said, Liverpool haven’t got a long wait for the next scheduled fixture.
The Reds are set to take on Leicester away on Tuesday 28 December, their second head-to-head in less than a week.
Liverpool played out a dramatic Carabao Cup quarter-final clash against Brendan Rodgers’ side on Wednesday.
Klopp’s charges were 2-0 and 3-1 down before salvaging a 3-3 draw in second-half injury-time.
This meant a penalty shootout, with Liverpool triumphing over their former manager’s side.
On Friday, the Reds returned to training at the AXA Training Centre.
And one player was pictured sporting a sizeable black eye.

Andrew Robertson sustained the black eye in the 2-2 draw with Spurs last week.
The Mirror speculates the left-back got it as he scored Liverpool’s second, his face potentially caught by the boot of Emerson Royal.
It was certainly a mixed afternoon for Robertson – he scored and helped the Reds to a point, but was sent off for kicking out at the Spurs defender.
On top of that, he suffered a black eye that’s still showing on Christmas Eve – but despite that, he’s still smiling.
Can’t deny that Robertson is a warrior, willing to put his body on the line for the cause.
