Liverpool should swoop for Paris Saint Germain contract rebel Rabiot in January
Adrien Rabiot will not sign a new contract with Paris Saint Germain, according to the club’s sporting director, via Yahoo Sport.
Antero Henrique has said that Rabiot has told the club he will not be extending his deal and wants to leave the club at the end of the season for free.
The consequence of that will apparently be an extended period on the substitutes bench and that stand off must surely raise the possibility that he will leave the club in next month’s transfer window.
PSG will want to get a transfer fee in for Rabiot and spending the rest of the season on the bench will not make him an enticing prospect for potential buyers.

So who should be in the frame to sign Rabiot? Liverpool made a huge investment in their midfield during the summer, but the likes of Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana are still on their books.
They are reasonable players, but for a side with ambitions on winning the title and making genuine waves, Jurgen Klopp may well feel he needs more.
Rabiot would be a classier option at the base of midfield for the Reds, and as a cut-price option, Klopp should be very interested indeed.
