Barcelona are expecting Premier League interest in playmaker Philippe Coutinho during the summer transfer window, according to the Independent.
They report that Chelsea are among the clubs monitoring the situation but his former club Liverpool are apparently not interested in bringing the Brazilian back to Liverpool.
Barca reportedly do not want to sell Coutinho, but if he were to become available, Jurgen Klopp should muscle himself to the front of the queue to engineer a return to Merseyside.
Liverpool have become a more-rounded team since Coutinho left the club last January but they have not yet replaced his midfield creativity from a deep area or his ability to offer an alternative from wide on the left in tight games.

In two recent matches, against Leicester and West Ham, the Reds have been crying out for a deep playmaker to unlock a deep defence but had nobody in Coutinho’s mould to do exactly that.
The Brazilian’s love for the club is clear and that would perhaps give Liverpool the edge in any transfer negotiations, because Chelsea could likely put a better financial package on the table.
There is no real reason why Liverpool wouldn’t want to do all they can to get Coutinho back and it would be a hugely popular move among the fans.
