Liverpool could be set to offer Tottenham midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele, a surprise rout out of north London this summer.
According to Foot Mercato, the Reds are considering a move for Ndombele as they look to strengthen their ranks this in the coming months.

The interest will come as a surprise to a lot of Liverpool fans. Ndombele has been something of a failure for Spurs, so to see the champions-elect move to sign him is certainly an eye-opener.
And with Liverpool building towards something special at the moment, Jurgen Klopp needs to put his foot down on this one and step away from any potential deal.
Ndombele does not fit Liverpool…at all
Without criticising the player too much, it would be fair to say that Ndombele’s spell with Spurs has been disappointing to say the very least.
Since arriving from Lyon for a huge sum of money, the French midfielder has looked lost. A positive start has rapidly descended into looking like a nightmare for both club and player.
It is, then, hard to see where Jurgen Klopp would slot Ndombele into his system.

Liverpool prides themselves on a hard-working and high-pressing game. There are certainly question marks over whether Ndombele would buy into that ethos.
For example, his display at Burnley prior to lockdown was nothing short of abysmal. His effort, distribution with the ball, and overall contribution to the team that day were below the required level.
Based solely on that performance alone, Ndombele is a signing Liverpool should be avoiding making at this moment.
