Liverpool are already drawing up plans for the next two transfer windows.
TBR reported this week that Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo has been made a top target to replace Virgil van Dijk next summer if he is to leave Anfield.
Sevilla’s Loic Bade and Sporting’s Goncalo Inacio have also been identified as potential successors for the Dutchman.
Further, a midfielder is also being eyed ahead of the January transfer window as Liverpool send scouts to watch one in Portugal.

Liverpool send scouts to watch Orkun Kokcu
According to Portuguese outlet Record, Liverpool are scouting Benfica midfielder Orkun Kokcu ahead of the January transfer window.
Club scouts have attended his last two games and were impressed by his performance against Rio Ave at the weekend.
It’s understood that interest in his signature is rising, so Liverpool are expected to face serious competition.
Kokcu’s father has already expressed an openness about the move to Merseyside.
The Turkey international, who played under Arne Slot at Feyenoord, is valued at around £38m.
Kocku statistics compared to Alexis Mac Allister
If Liverpool were to sign Kokcu this winter, he’d likely be competing against Alexis Mac Allister for a spot in Arne Slot’s starting 11.
Here are how their statistics compare, as per FBref.
| Stats per 90 | Orkun Kokcu | Alexis Mac Allister |
| Non-penalty goals | 0.35 | 0.14 |
| Assists | 0.50 | 0.17 |
| Progressive passes | 8.51 | 7.02 |
| Progressive carries | 2.38 | 1.29 |
Interstingly, Kokcu’s underlying data is actually superior to Mac Allister’s, though, he’s evidently plying his trade at a lower standard.
Either way, the signing would certainly be a promising one should it transpire.
