Liverpool selling Mane to Real Madrid is surely out of the question

New Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is said be after rebuilding a new brand of Galacticos at the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos have nothing left to play for this season after a dismal campaign under Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari.

The Argentine was fired by Florentino Perez earlier this week and replaced by Zidane, who left the club 10 months ago after winning his third straight Champions League title.

Predictably, a host of top class players have been linked with moves to Madrid following the Frenchman’s return, including Christian Eriksen, Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe.

Another name that’s been mentioned is Liverpool winger Sadio Mane.

Apparently Zidane was a ‘big admirer’ of the Senegalese attacker (France Football) and wanted him to replace Gareth Bale.

A move never materialised, Zidane then sensationally quit and Mane signed a new Liverpool contract in November 2018.

Liverpool surely won’t allow Mane sale after Coutinho

It is thought that Zidane will reignite his interest in Mane this summer despite that new deal (The Mirror), but Liverpool surely won’t want to entertain negotiations.

Although the Reds made a huge sale on Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, they have missed the Brazilian and they won’t want to make the same mistake with Mane.

Of course, Liverpool are having a fantastic season, but in a number of games they have struggled to break their opponents down.

Coutinho was a huge player for Liverpool, as is Mane now.

The ex-Southampton star hasn’t even reached his peak yet, and the Reds would be fools to allow another potential Coutinho situation.
