Liverpool are to pursue the summer signing of Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The Reds are still in the race for the Premier League and the Champions League this season but it would appear that players are being identified for 2019/20.
At 19-years-old the Nigerian wide man is certainly one for the future. This season he has netted 10 goals and contributed four assists for the Spanish outfit.

Jurgen Klopp will face competition from Manchester City, as per the report, whilst other clubs could well declare their interest given the potential he possesses.
Chukwueze has a buyout clause set at a staggering £54 million but could accept a lower amount if the deal included performance-related bonuses.
TBR Verdict
Liverpool could certainly do with some competition for their front three ahead of next season. Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have all been sensational this season, but there is little in reserve.
Daniel Sturridge will surely depart, whilst Divock Origi doesn’t really fit naturally into Klopp’s style of football.

Chukwueze won’t come particularly cheap but in cutting his teeth with Villarreal this season he has proved he can cope with the demands of a top European league.
His qualities would surely be an asset to Liverpool and they will hope to beat Manchester City to his signature this summer.
