Report: Liverpool and Chelsea target Samuel Chukwueze promised to a Premier League club

Liverpool are keen to seen Samuel Chukwueze and according to Foot Mercato, his current club have promised him to a Premier League club.

The Nigerian trickster is also wanted by Chelsea who see him as an alternative if they can’t lure Jadon Sancho to Stamford Bridge.

Naturally a right-winger, Chukwueze has scored three goals and registered three assists for the La Liga side.

The 20-year-old is viewed as one of the brightest prospects in European football and Liverpool are seemingly poised to pounce.

Chukwueze has 12 caps for Nigeria and boasts an array of tricks and flicks. If the Reds do secure his signature they will boost their quota of flamboyance within their squad.

The news of the energetic player being promised to a Premier League club has emerged on the back of interest from Lyon.

Chukwueze has a release clause of £52 million (Daily Post) and it remains to be seen if Liverpool have won the race.
