Liverpool react as pundit thinks club should target Man City legend Aguero this summer
Liverpool fans have taken to social media following comments from pundit and former Premier League attacker Stephen Elliott, who suggested the Reds should sign Manchester City attacker Sergio Aguero this summer.
Speaking on Off The Ball following City’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, Elliott claimed that the Merseyside club should quick to move on Aguero as we approach the summer window, with Liverpool struggling for goals this season as they fight for a UEFA Champions League spot in the Premier League table.
Sergio Aguero is set to leave Manchester City this summer after nearly ten years with the club, and although Liverpool are yet to be linked with the Argentine international, who has played alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Kevin De Bruyne in the past few years, some supporters on social media are open to the idea of Jurgen Klopp signing the 32-year-old.
Here’s what some Liverpool fans had to say on Elliott’s comments about Aguero, with some supporters agreeing that they should attempt to sign the attacker…

One million percent. He’s always been a Liverpool fan, so if he wanted to come, yes. It would also be hilarious if he scored against City. 👌👍🙏
