Liverpool will play Wolves tonight looking to claim a big three points and possibly go back on top of the Premier League.

The reigning champions were forced to settle for a draw against Brighton last weekend, with the Seagulls winning a penalty late on.

Liverpool’s injury problems have shown some signs of easing this week – providing a boost ahead of this evening.

Ahead of tonight’s showdown, we looked at the team Klopp could utilise.

In goal and back four

Alisson Becker remains sidelines so Liverpool’s hero against Ajax, Caoimhin Kelleher should continue to make his Premier League debut.

At right-back, the return of Trent Alexander-Arnold could be telling.

He has missed the last few weeks with a calf problem but should replace Neco Williams.

Elsewhere the other three players should remain the same as last weekend.

Fabinho will partner Nat Phillips at centre-back with Andy Robertson keeping his place at left-back.

Midfield

James Milner could drop out here, with Naby Keita fit to return to the fold.

The £120,000-a-week Guinean has also been nursing an injury but his return will be a timely boost for Klopp.

Gini Wijnaldum has been magnificent so far this season and will almost certainly play.

Alongside those two, Jordan Henderson is likely to play his second game of the week and captain the side.

In attack

Sadio Mane missed last week’s game at Brighton and Klopp could choose to leave him out of the starting eleven once again.

Diogo Jota could take his place on the left, with Mohamed Salah occupying his usual spot on the right-hand side.

That could see Roberto Firmino keep his place in the team and he could desperately do with a run of goals.

Here is how Liverpool’s team could look this evening:
