Liverpool will take on Leicester City on Sunday looking to continue their march towards the summit of the Premier League.

The reigning champions have been decimated with injuries and it’ll be interesting to see what team Jurgen Klopp selects.

Liverpool claimed a decent point from a draw against Manchester City prior to the international break.

Ahead of their contest with the Foxes, we took a look at how Liverpool could line up.

Goalkeeper and back four

Liverpool do have their first choice goalkeeper available for selection with Alisson Becker set to play.

Elsewhere, Joel Matip at centre-back and Andy Robertson at left-back should both keep their places.

Robertson did have an injury scare on Scotland duty but did play against Israel last night.

Nathaniel Phillips will probably come in at centre-back hoping to continue his good form after his league debut against West Ham.

At right-back, the evergreen James Milner looks set to start.

In midfield

Jordan Henderson looks set to miss out with an injury picked up on international duty.

That could open the door for Naby Keita. The £120,000-a-week star is striving for consistency at Anfield and he was in good form on duty for Guinea.

Alongside him, it’s likely to be Gini Wijnaldum who scored three goals in three games during his time with the Holland national team.

Curtis Jones will also fight for a place in Klopp’s starting eleven.

In attack

Mo Salah is set to miss this game so a change could be enforced on Klopp.

Sadio Mane should continue on the left-hand side and Xherdan Shaqiri could make a rare start to fill Salah’s void.

Roberto Firmino will probably start in the N0.10 role, with Diogo Jota playing as the lone striker.

Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino have been forced to play a waiting game and that looks set to continue here.

Here’s how Liverpool could line-up on Sunday.
