Liverpool predicted XI: Joel Matip returns, Xherdan Shaqiri benched
Liverpool face Burnley in the Premier League this evening and are under some real pressure to reignite their title defence.
The Reds haven’t won for four league games since a 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace last month.
Boss Jurgen Klopp has watched on as fellow title contenders flex their credentials and his team needs to put on a performance tonight.
Burnley gave Manchester United a really good assessment last week and will fancy their chances of a good performance at Anfield.
Ahead of tonight’s game, we looked at how Klopp might choose to line his team up this evening.
In goal and back four
Alisson preserved Liverpool a point with three superb saves on Sunday and he’ll start in goal.
The full-backs should also remain unchanged, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson both striving for some form.

It could be all change at centre-back though.
Joel Matip has returned to full training and should start this evening at the heart of the back four.
With Rhys Williams having sat out on Sunday, he could return to partner the Cameroonian in defence.
Midfield
With Liverpool opting for more natural options at centre-back, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho could be free to return to the midfield.
The influential duo have both been brilliant professionals but Liverpool lose something in the middle of the park when they have to fill in at the back.
Alongside them, expect Thiago Alcantara to continue in the team.
He was exceptional against Manchester United, with the Spaniard doing a number on Red Devils star Bruno Fernandes.
In attack
Roberto Firmino endured a horrible afternoon on Sunday, failing to find his scoring boots in attack for the champions.
Klopp will be desperate to see his front three hit their stride though and the Brazilian should play.

Alongside him, both Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are likely to start in the three-pronged attack.
The £80,000-a-week Xherdan Shaqiri will likely drop to the bench as Klopp reverts to a trusted 4-3-3 setup.
Here is how Klopp’s team could look tonight:
