Former Italy defender Andrea Dossena has told Tuttomercatoweb that Paulo Dybala would have ‘no doubts’ about signing for Liverpool.
The Argentine forward looks set to leave Turin this summer and Manchester Evening News reports that he is weighing up a move to Manchester United.
A deal could see Romelu Lukaku go in the opposite direction and the 25-year-old is assessing what is best for him.
Dossena spent two years at Liverpool, playing 18 times and scoring two goals. He never quite hit it off at Anfield and ended his short stay by moving to Napoli.

He believes Dybala would sign for Liverpool without any hesitation.
Dossena told Tuttomercatoweb: “Manchester United are a football superpower, but for me, they are not ready to win big in Europe, as perhaps Juve could be.
“If the team in question had been Liverpool or Manchester City, in my opinion, he would have had no doubts. United is more of a construction site at the moment.”
Liverpool had been linked with a move for Dybala earlier in the summer but pulled out of the running when a £70 million valuation emerged (Daily Mail).
TBR Verdict
These comments from Dossena will only serve to further disappoint Liverpool fans that the club isn’t in the market for big-money signings this summer.

Boss Jurgen Klopp appears happy with his quota of players and a foray into the transfer market seems unlikely.
Dybala is perhaps the right player at the wrong time for Liverpool – especially considering Dossena suggesting that he wouldn’t turn the Reds down.
It will be interesting to see how Klopp’s team get on this season without a big name arrival. Their supporters will certainly hope that the German doesn’t live to regret his decision not to land a player of Dybala’s ilk.
