Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy in the latter stages of the summer transfer window as they look to strengthen their respective squads.
The Reds will be eager to mount another Premier League title challenge, while Spurs will want to get back into the Champions League after missing out last term.
Liverpool are yet to get off the mark in terms of incomings, while Tottenham have made one senior signing to date, landing Archie Gray from Leeds United.
Outgoings could also be on the cards, and now a Sky Sports report has claimed that the Reds are open to selling a player Spurs reportedly asked about in January.

Liverpool open to selling Joe Gomez amid prior Tottenham links
The player in question is Joe Gomez, who faces an uncertain future at Anfield after slipping down the centre-back pecking order.
The Daily Mail reported in March that Tottenham had made an enquiry about Gomez in January as they looked to strengthen their defensive ranks.
Now, according to Sky Sports, Liverpool are open to offers for the England international to make a permanent move away.
The report notes how Gomez was said to be offered as part of negotiations with Newcastle United over Anthony Gordon earlier this summer.
Liverpool were said to have valued the 26-year-old at around £45million.
Liverpool could make big profit on Gomez
Although Tottenham ended up signing Radu Dragusin in January, they could well look towards making further defensive reinforcements.
Gomez is a Premier League-proven player who is heading into his prime age-wise, and can also provide cover at full-back, making him a versatile option.
Should Liverpool manage to sell Gomez for £45million, it would give the Reds a huge £41.5million profit.
The Reds initially signed the Londoner from Charlton Athletic for just £3.5million back in June 2015.
With the transfer window closing in 30 August, clubs now have just under four weeks to complete their business this summer.
