Liverpool have been linked with Domenico Berardi in recent months.
In July, Corriere della Sera claimed the Reds expressed an interest in the Italy international.
They were “fascinated” by Berardi’s “movements and offensive capacity” as Italy won Euro 2020, added the report.

Come transfer deadline day, Berardi was still at Sassuolo, but it looks as though he’s got an eye on the January window.
Calciomercato claims Berardi wants to leave Sassuolo and has let the club know.
They also report that his price tag has dropped to around 35million euro, or £30million.
However, Liverpool could have competition for Berardi from a Premier League rival.
According to Calciomercato, Leicester have launched talks with Sassuolo over a move for Berardi.
Michael Edwards ought to step up his efforts to bring the 27-year-old to Anfield as he’s a great player with a lot to offer.
