Italian outfit Lazio are reportedly interested in a deal to bring Serbian midfielder to Rome this summer. As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, the Biancocelesti are keen on a potential £10.7 million move for the player, who is currently out on loan at Hertha Berlin.
It would be a bitter pill for Jurgen Klopp to swallow. Grujic was his first Liverpool signing and, after securing his signature, he spoke of how Grujic was a ‘big talent’ (Express) who had every chance of becoming a future Liverpool first-teamer.
But with the club looking to raise money for potential transfer moves of their own letting Grujic go this summer might not be the worst of ideas.

However, if they do sell him to Lazio, they must hope to conclude a similar deal to the one they did with Luis Alberto.
In 2016, as reported by the BBC, Klopp decided to let the Spaniard leave for Lazio in a £4.3 million deal.
For many, it has been seen as a rare misstep from the German. Alberto has been in fine form in Italy and as recently as March it was being reported by Il Messaggerro that Alberto was now valued at around £87 million.
However, Liverpool included a massive sell-on clause in his deal. As reported by the BBC, that clause was worth 30 percent of his next sale should he leave Lazio.
Considering his success at the Stadio Olimpico, Liverpool could one day be cashing a big cheque thanks to the deal involving Alberto and Lazio.
Any sale of Grujic must include a similar clause to hopefully compensate Liverpool should the Serbian go on to be the star Klopp thought he would.
