James Milner has thrown his backing behind Curtis Jones, after the Liverpool midfielder was replaced at half-time against Ajax in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp opted to hook the 19-year-old at the break in Amsterdam, sending out Jordan Henderson for the second half.

“He’s a very good player. Thought he did well.
“It was no reflection on him coming off at half-time. I’m sure it will be the first of many, many European nights for him because he’s a top top player.”
