Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Memphis Depay this summer – if Sadio Mane is poached by Real Madrid.
L’Equipe (via The Sun) have claimed that los Blancos want to sign the Senegalese speedster as Zinedine Zidane eyes a rebuild at the struggling club.

Mane has enjoyed a tremendous season at Anfield so far, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.
The winger has really been spearheading the Reds’ title challenge in recent weeks, and his level of influence could be massive in the destination of the title.
Liverpool undoubtedly won’t want to lose Mane in the summer, but if they do then L’Equipe report they will turn to Lyon striker Depay as his replacement.
TBR’s view
It is an interested link, especially given Depay’s association with Liverpool’s bitter rivals Manchester United.
The Dutchman was signed by Louis van Gaal in 2015, but he struggled to make an impact at the club and was sold by Jose Mourinho in 2017 for £16 million, which eventually rose to £21.7 million (BBC Sport).
He is a much better player today having had time to develop a litte more in France, and would be a good signing for Liverpool if Mane did leave.

There’s a chance they’ll be able to snap him up since they already have a Dutch contingent of Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum.
The duo know Depay very well as they all play for the senior national side together, and perhaps their influence will be key if Liverpool want to do a deal.
