Former Arsenal hero Martin Keown has predicted that Liverpool will win the Premier League and striker Mohamed Salah will claim the golden boot award this season, according to the Daily Mail.
The Egyptian shared the award with team-mate Sadio Mane and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last season, with all three scoring 22 goals.
Salah has three goals in four games this season and the ex-Arsenal defender believes he has what it takes to claim the accolade.
Keown was discussing his pre-season predictions alongside Chris Sutton. The pair were discussing whether any of their suggestions had changed after the first month of the campaign.

The former England international is standing firm, however.
He told the Daily Mail: “If Liverpool are going to be champions, it has to be Mohamed Salah. He will pip Sadio Mane this season, and I’m sure Klopp won’t have let those two leave Turf Moor on Saturday without dealing with their squabble. Salah went through a spell when he struggled to score last season, but I see more in his play this year than I have before.”
Salah, 27, has netted 57 goals since joining Liverpool from Roma in 2017 and won the golden boot during his first season back in England with 32 goals.
TBR Verdict – Keown prediction will delight Liverpool fans
A former Arsenal defender praising Liverpool might be unheard of, but Keown certainly fancies Liverpool to have a cracking 2019/20 campaign.
He perhaps has a point too.

Winning the league will be difficult given the quality possessed in the Manchester City ranks but it isn’t impossible.
It seems certain at this early stage that it will be a two-horse race to secure the title once again and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can claim the elusive piece of silverware.
Salah winning the golden boot isn’t really a bold selection. Many people would back Sergio Aguero or Harry Kane but Salah is equally important to his team.
The fact he has won it the last two seasons makes it less of a bold prediction and it seems fairly obvious to say that Salah will be there or thereabouts come May.
