Liverpool and Chelsea are both eyeing up a bargain swoop for Monaco youngster Khephren Thuram, according to The Daily Mail.
Thuram is yet to sign a professional contract with Monaco and this English duo are hoping to beat Juventus to his signature.
The 17-year-old is an exciting midfielder who recently scored against Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League.
And despite his young age, Thuram has already made his senior debut for Monaco, who rate him very highly.
Khephren Thuram comes from a famous footballing family as his father is legendary French defender Lilian Thuram.
And Khephren’s brother – Marcus Thuram – is also a professional footballer; one that should also be on Liverpool’s radar.

Marcus Thuram plays for Guingamp in Ligue 1 and is already a regular for the French top division side.
This season, the 21-year-old winger has scored an impressive 11 goals in 26 matches, proving why he is one of the top young French talents around.
Both brothers are highly rated in France and have represented Les Bleus at youth international.
If Liverpool try to sign Khephren, they should also look at bringing in Marcus as well. The two brothers could reunite at Anfield and form a dangerous duo.
Both players have a lot of potential and they are worth a double risk by the Reds.
