Liverpool icon Kenny Dalglish believes Andy Robertson should stay at the club for years to come following recent speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona.
The Scotland captain’s stock is sky high at the moment following a whirlwind two years at Anfield.

Having signed for the club in a £10 million deal from Hull City (BBC Sport), the 25-year-old is now arguably the best left-back in the world.
He was named in the PFA Team of the Season for 2018/19, and recently became a Champions League winner.
His stunning rise has caught the attention of Barca, with Mundo Deportivo (via The Mirror) reporting last month that they believe he has the quality to play at the Nou Camp.

In the eyes of Dalglish though, the star should be happy where he is.
Writing for The Sunday Post, he said: “Andy Robertson must wake up every morning and think it’s Christmas Day
“That’s why I don’t believe he’ll be considering leaving Liverpool for any other football club at home or abroad.
“I’m told he has been linked with a couple of big European clubs. But why would he want to leave Liverpool? Seriously, tell me why?
“Week in and week out, he has been hugely influential and his contribution has been enormous.”
TBR’s view
Dalglish is spot on.
As attractive as Barcelona still are for any player, Liverpool are seriously going places.
Robertson has just won the greatest proze in club football and came within a whisker of winning the Premier League.

The Reds are competing for silverware again and have an absolutely fantastic manager at the helm.
And the full-back is utterly idolised by the Liverpool faithful for his commitment to the cause and superb ability.
