Liverpool are set to join the chase to sign highly-rated Monaco midfielder Khephren Thuram, according to the Daily Mail.
The 17-year-old is yet to pen terms with the French outfit and the Reds have now joined Chelsea for his signature.
Thuram is the son of former France legend Lilian and he could be available at a cut-price.
The youngster is one of Monaco’s most prized assets and he looks set for a bright future in the game.
Thuram has played in the Champions League this season, making cameo appearances against Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
The boy can clearly play.
Footage emerged this week of a tremendous goal scored by Thuram in a 3-1 defeat for Monaco against Chelsea in the UEFA Youth League.
The goal tweeted by Mundial, was nothing more than a consolation but that made it no less spectacular:

Liverpool are making a genuine fist of winning the title this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are level on points with Manchester City at the top and hold a game in hand on the Citizens.
It will be interesting to see what tact Klopp takes in the summer transfer window.
Given the footage that has emerged this week, Thuram looks like a player who can excite supporters.
The fact he has already cut his teeth in the first-team at 17 could bode well for him hitting the ground running at Anfield.
