Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has told the Daily Mail that a Premier League and Champions League double is firmly in their sights.
The Reds take on Bayern Munich in Europe this evening, whilst they are level on points with Manchester City at the top of the league.
Henderson is not fazed by facing the German giants and believes his team-mates are up for the challenge of winning the double.

He told the Daily Mail: ” We go game by game, Bayern Munich is the biggest game of the season.
“It’s not about favouring one competition, I feel we have a good enough squad to go and challenge in both.”
The 28-year-old’s comments are all good and well but Liverpool have been here before.
Back in December, central defender Dejan Lovren backed the Reds to go the entire league campaign without defeat.
He told the Daily Mail: “Hopefully we can be unbeaten until the end of the season.
“It’ll be hard but Arsenal did it before, so why not us?”
Just a fortnight later, Liverpool went to Manchester City and lost, making Lovren look very foolish indeed.
Henderson might have put his foot firmly in his mouth with his latest comments, but time will tell whether his team-mates have the stomach for a double tilt.
The midfielder continued: “Hopefully at the end of the season we can say we are champions in at least one, if not both.”
Liverpool face a potentially season-defining week as they take on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

You can’t really knock Henderson’s bullish comments ahead of such a big game.
It remains to be seen now whether Henderson and Co can walk the walk in the quest for silverware.
