At 16-years-old Ribeiro would definitely be one for the future. It seems very unlikely that the teenager would come in and make an immediate claim for a first-team place.

Liverpool’s academy is one of the best in the country and the chance to hone his skills there would be ideal for his career.

Having represented Switzerland at several age groups, Ribeiro looks like he could go on and become a decent player. Klopp has previously shown that he is not afraid to put youngsters in his first-team if they can prove they are good enough.

It will prove tough for the Reds to sign him, especially with Inter interested in his services. As an unknown quantity, Ribeiro’s arrival at Anfield would make him an intriguing acquisition for supporters.
