Liverpool have a hectic schedule after the internatonal break with some pivotal games coming up in both the Premier League and Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp’s side sit second in the league with an unbeaten record after 12 games and it looks like they’ll need to keep that pace to challenge leaders Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the Reds are second in a tight Champions League group and just a point separates themselves, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain.

Watford v Liverpool (Premier League), November 24

Watford can be a serious threat on their day to any team in the division and that has helped them up to seventh so far this campaign. But Liverpool should possess too much attacking firepower and will be keen to get back in the swing with a statement win.

Prediction: Watford 1-3 Liverpool

Paris Saint-Germain v Liverpool (Champions League) November 28

Group C in the Champions League is likely to go down to the final game, but the outcome of this contest will give either side the edge. The Merseyside club will do well to come away from France with all three points, but are a threat to any team and could snatch a point.

Prediction: PSG 2-2 Liverpool

Liverpool v Everton (Premier League), December 2

This date will have been circled by supporters when the Premier League fixtures were announced, as the two Merseyside clubs clash. Everton are beginning to make considerable progress under Marco Silva and recently held Chelsea to a draw, but Liverpool should have too much at Anfield.

Burnley v Liverpool (Premier League), December 5

Klopp will have to rotate his team at times during a busy run of games and this may be the type of match that Daniel Sturridge gets an opportunity. Burnley are nowhere near the same force as last season and Liverpool should cruise to three more points.

Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Liverpool

Bournemouth v Liverpool (Premier League), December 8

This is a potential banana skin for Liverpool against sixth-placed Bournemouth, who have caught the eye for their impressive style of football. It’s likely to be a fast paced encounter and it may well be somewhere Liverpool drop two points.

Prediction: Bournemouth 2-2 Liverpool

Liverpool v Napoli (Champions League), December 11

Liverpool will have their destiny in their owns hands for qualification if they do manage to draw with PSG, while for current group leaders Napoli they may still need points. But the Reds are known for their famous European nights and they could pull yet another one out of the bag against very strong opposition.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Napoli
