According to a recent report, Liverpool have now made a decision on Mohamed Salah’s future.

Arne Slot is in post and ready to bolster his ranks this summer transfer window as he looks to assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title.

The former Feyenoord boss will be eager to make his own imprint ahead of the fast-approaching Premier League campaign in August.

That said, key players must remain amid interest from elsewhere and it has just come to light what they plan to do with Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool will keep Mohamed Salah no matter what bid arrives

Liverpool have decided that Mohamed Salah will not leave the club this summer transfer window.

According to the Mirror, via Foot Mercato, the club will not sanction his sale no matter what offer arrives despite only having a year left on his contract.

The Reds turned down a bid worth £148m from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad last year and now intend to avoid engaging in any forthcoming talks this time around.

That would indicate the club feel they can agree on a new contract with Salah, who at this stage is set to depart on a free next year.

Arne Slot boost

Slot will certainly be delighted with the club’s stance and can now indefinitely put him in his plans for next term.

The Dutchman has remained confident all along that his star players will remain, including Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, both of whom have a year left on their deals.

With Salah now set to stay, Slot will be desperate to get assurances on the aforementioned pair before pre-season begins later this month.

In other news, A European club are in talks to sign a Liverpool player this summer.
