Liverpool fans blown away by performance of Harvey Elliott

Liverpool secured the bragging rights over Everton once more as a Curtis Jones goal saw them reach round four of the FA Cup.

Despite a young team taking to the field, Jones’ wonderful strike was enough to give the Reds a 1-0 victory.

Jurgen Klopp used the FA Cup as a chance to ring the changes and several youngsters earned the chance to shine.

The Liverpool boss has been criticised in previous seasons for not taking the cup competitions seriously. With the club flying high in the Premier League, however, few could complain this time around.

His decision to play the younger lads, however, paid dividends. It left a full-strength Everton looks desperately short of quality.

One man who put in a superb showing was youngster Harvey Elliott.

The 16-year-old arrived in the summer from Fulham and made his fifth appearance of the season for the Reds.

Elliott looked in great nick and he looks like becoming a fantastic prospect if he can stay grounded.
