Liverpool’s Ozan Kabak completed 90 minutes for his country on Wednesday in a World Cup qualifier – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter were extremely impressed by their defender’s performacen.
Kabak, 20, played during Turkey’s dramatic 4-2 victory at home to Netherlands.
The centre-back partnered Leicester City’s Caglar Soyuncu in the heart of defence, and caught the eye during the victory.
He did concede a late penalty that the Dutch failed to convert, but apart from that excelled.
The young centre-half produced a stunning goal-line clearance during the contest, and it looks like he’s going to be an important figure for his national side for years to come.

A selection of Liverpool fans on social media waxed lyrical about Kabak’s Turkey display, with some saying it’s clear they should sign him on a permanent basis.
He’s joined on loan until the end of the season from Schalke, but the deal includes an option to buy for £18million (Sky Sports).
The inexperienced defender has started to form a strong partnership alongside Nat Phillips in the Reds XI at Anfield, and he’s going to have an important role to play from now until the end of the season.
Here are some Reds fans discussing Kabak’s midweek international performance:
