Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to praise Kaide Gordon for his display in Friday’s pre-season victory.

The 16-year-old only joined the Reds academy in February this year but he’s already making waves at Kirkby.

Gordon netted six goals in eight games for Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side in the Under-18 Premier League.

Now, the former Derby gem has been shining in pre-season for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Gordon featured against Wacker Innsbruck last week, coming close with one effort and looking lively and confident throughout.

Klopp then brought him on in the second half against Mainz and he found the back of the net, though it was disallowed for offside.

Gordon had several other chances to score, pressing the goalkeeper into an error before the hour mark before forcing another save.

Quite a few Liverpool fans are tipping the teenage forward for a bright future at Anfield.
