Liverpool will be looking to go one step closer to the Premier League title on Monday night as they host struggling West Ham United at Anfield – and many Liverpool fans have urged Jurgen Klopp to hand Takumi Minamino a start.
The Reds can go a massive 22 points clear of Manchester City with a win over West Ham, who are struggling in the relegation zone. David Moyes’ second stint at the east London club has not gone as successfully as hoped, with the club in 18th.
Liverpool have embarked on another jam-packed fixture schedule which sees them play eight games in all competitions in the space of just over a month – the first of those coming in the form of Tuesday night’s loss to Atletico Madrid.

It is likely to see Jurgen Klopp use the depths of his squad once again, bringing in fringe players such as Adam Lallana and others players on the cusp of the 18-man squad in order to rest his best players. New signing Minamino could also be used.
Indeed, the 25-year-old January signing has made four Liverpool appearances since joining the Reds from RedBull Salzburg. He has made two Premier League outings, coming off the bench against Wolves and Southampton.
Minamino will be hoping for his first start for Liverpool on Monday night, and many Reds fans are hoping that Klopp will give him a chance from the off against Moyes’ West Ham.
