Liverpool fans want Jurgen Klopp to keep Marko Grujic

There is a lot of speculation surrounding the future of Liverpool midfield Marko Grujic this summer, with Southampton and West Ham interested in the player, according to The Times.

The 24-year-old has featured in Carabao Cup games against Lincoln and Arsenal so far this season and performed well in each of them.

Liverpool fans certainly don’t seem convinced that cashing in on the £20 million-rated player is a wise idea, with plenty taking to Twitter to suggest there’s a place in the squad for him.

Grujic was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing back in 2016 but has found himself on loan at Cardiff City and Hertha Berlin, rather than finding his way at Anfield.

Cashing in would make a lot of sense but likewise, he would also make an ideal squad player should Klopp wish to keep him around.

It’ll be interesting to see if any of the potential suitors step forward with concrete bids before Monday’s deadline.

It seems unlikely the Reds will see if they don’t receive the full valuation and that could be a problem for some clubs.

Liverpool fans don’t seem fazed though, with many seemingly of the opinion that they’d rather he stuck around.

Here is a selection of Tweets from the Liverpool faithful regarding the future of Grujic at Anfield.
