Dani Alves has been released by Paris Saint-Germain this summer after two excellent years with the French giants – and Liverpool fans believe he should be brought to Anfield as cover for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The 36-year-old has starred for PSG since joining the club from Juventus in 2017, clocking up 73 appearances in all competitions for Thomas Tuchel’s side. He has helped PSG win two Ligue 1 titles, and a French Cup.
The former Sevilla, Juventus and Barcelona ace is now looking for a new home and he could look to remain in European football, over choosing retirement, a move to the likes of China or a return to Brazil.
Champions League winners Liverpool will be looking to reach the final next season for the third consecutive campaign, and bringing in players with experience of holding the trophy aloft could be key.
Alves, a 107-time Brazil international, has won the Champions League on three occasions with Barcelona. He has enormous experience at the top level, and bringing him in could give Alexander-Arnold the perfect tutor.
Still showing plenty of energy for a player of his age – despite 735 club matches and another 107 for Brazil – Alves could be a solid signing for Liverpool on a 12-month deal and Reds fans have urged their club to consider him.

Danni Alves could be an interesting one to provide a bit of backup cover in Defence for a season, he's two footed so could cover the left side as well, plenty of experience of wining titles, being successful in multiple competitions and tireless rerunning (or perhaps jogging now)
