Liverpool fans react to Ryan Kent’s latest display for Glasgow Rangers

Liverpool fans have been left amazed by Rangers winger Ryan Kent’s display against Real Madrid yesterday.

Catching the eye

Liverpool sold Kent to Rangers back in 2019, and he has quickly become a key player at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard has managed to transform the Liverpool academy graduate into a fearless winger.

That was on full display yesterday, as he really took it to Real Madrid.

Rangers picked up a 2-1 win in the contest, in a result which has raised eye brows at Anfield.

And Kent’s display also drew a great deal of praise from Liverpool fans, who feel that they may have made a mistake letting him go.

Kent has actually been linked with a move back to the Premier League from Rangers, but Gerrard’s side seem intent on fighting hard to keep him.

Kent is a vital player to Rangers’ attack, with his direct running posing a real threat to teams.

And although Liverpool fans may wish they have kept Kent, it is unlikely that he would have developed into the player he is now if he had stuck around on Merseyside, as he has clearly benefitted from playing regularly.
