Liverpool fans react to Roberto Firmino’s display
A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Roberto Firmino’s FA Cup display against Manchester United on Sunday.
Firmino has come in for plenty of criticism in recent times. He went into the game awaiting his first goal or assist since the 7-0 win over Crystal Palace more than a month ago.

His wait for a goal continues. But there were reminders of the quality that the Brazilian can provide despite the Reds losing at Old Trafford.
It was his sumptuous pass that set up Mohamed Salah for the opening goal. And the same two players linked up for their second as the visitors came from behind to make the score 2-2 before Bruno Fernandes ultimately scored the winner.

Firmino – who earns £180,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – slid the ball towards James Milner. In truth, Milner was the star of the show on that particular occasion as he let it run into Salah’s path. The Egyptian then smashed the ball under Dean Henderson for the equaliser.
And that prompted many Liverpool fans to take to social media to suggest that they saw a lot of much better signs from the 29-year-old.
All of Liverpool’s attacking players arrived with a point to prove with Jurgen Klopp’s men struggling for goals in recent times.
And while the result did not go their way, several supporters felt that Firmino was a shining light before he was replaced late on.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans reacted to the forward’s display…
No matter how this match ends, Bobby #Firmino is a fantastic player, pulls the strings, does things no one sees, amazing player and very needed.

Firmino masterclass at OT for nothing, so unforgivable that we let it get to w point where Rhys Williams had to be used in this game
