Liverpool have made their decision on the immediate future of Ryan Kent. According to The Liverpool Echo, Kent will not be allowed to leave Liverpool on loan before the end of the European window.

The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move back to Rangers. He spent last season on loan at Ibrox, weighing in with goals and assists. Kent was a fan favourite at Rangers and ex-Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard wants him back.

Kent could form an exciting winger partnership with Sheyi Ojo in the Scottish Premiership. But Jurgen Klopp has decided not to let him leave on loan. Liverpool want to sell Kent on a permanent basis.

Liverpool value Kent at £12m. However, that price rules Rangers out of the running. And it is unlikely that any club will be willing to pay such a hefty transfer fee for Kent. This latest stance means the English winger’s future is in limbo.

Reds supporters took to Twitter to discuss this latest report. Here are some tweets from Liverpool fans after finding out Kent is not available for loan.
