French international playmaker Nabil Fekir has completed his move from Lyon to Real Betis, according to Goal.
The midfielder was heavily linked with Liverpool last summer, with the Telegraph reporting that a £53 million move was abandoned at the last minute.
That was apparently after a two-day medical examination which raised enough concerns for Liverpool to pull the plug on the deal.
But Fekir has now moved to the mid-table La Liga outfit on a deal Goal report is around £18 million initally, with around £9 million in add-ons.

And Betis posted on their official Twitter account a photo of Fekir, having passed his medical, with the subtle dig in the caption ‘in perfect medical condition’.
Many Liverpool fans sought the tweet out, and bit back to the comment – mainly telling Betis to double check Fekir’s knees.
It remains to be seen whether Fekir can keep fit for Betis, but he’s done that for the past two seasons and Liverpool are still looking for their replacement for Philippe Coutinho.
The Reds have a squad to challenge for honours once again this season but if Fekir is able to stay fit, perhaps Jurgen Klopp has missed out on a bargain for a player he clearly rates.
