Portugal thrashed Sweden 3-0 last night and for Liverpool forward Diogo Jota it was a night to remember fondly as he claimed two goals and an assist.
The ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers ace stole the show with a breathtaking display, warming up emphatically for the Merseyside-derby at the weekend.
Jota signed for the Reds for £45 million back in September and has made a decent start to life at Anfield.
He scored during his first league outing for his new club against Arsenal, coming on as a late substitute.

The 23-year-old struggled to get involved as Liverpool lost 7-2 to Aston Villa before the international break but did show some decent moments.
Last night, Jota had no issues with form as he gave Sweden a torrid time, scoring two clinical goals.
Bernardo Silva scored the other goal for Fernando Santos’ team, ensuring Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t missed.
Following the game, supporters were in awe of Jota and took to Twitter to speak of the youngster’s performance.
Last night was only the Liverpool man’s seventh cap and now he has three goals to his name for his country.
Here is a selection of Tweets from supporters as Jota enjoys a proud night playing for his country.
