Liverpool have allowed young forward Liam Millar to leave on loan. The club’s official website has confirmed that Millar has left Liverpool to join Kilmarnock on a season-long loan deal.
Millar spent time with Kilmarnock last season and now he is returning to the Scottish Premiership club. The Canada international scored once and providing one assist during his time at Rugby Park, impressing the fans with his performances.

He now returns to Kilmarnock ready for their second league game of the season, which will be a trip to Hamilton Academical next Saturday. Millar missed Kilmarnock’s opener which ended in a 2-1 defeat against Rangers.
Millar will hope to use this loan spell to show Jurgen Klopp why he can compete for a first-team spot in the future. The 19-year-old has scored plenty of goals for Liverpool’s academy sides but he now needs to step up to senior football.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter to wish the teenager luck on his Kilmarnock return. Here are some of the best tweets after Liverpool announced Millar’s loan departure.
