Liverpool fans react to Kaide Gordon debut at Norwich

A number of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Kaide Gordon after the youngster made his Reds debut against Norwich City in the Carabao Cup.

Jurgen Klopp’s men safely navigated past Premier League opposition on Tuesday as they beat Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Two goals from Takumi Minamino and a header from Divock Origi gave Liverpool their second 3-0 victory on the ground this season.

But following the game, it seemed to be Gordon’s debut display that most Liverpool fans wanted to take about on social media.

There is, understandably, a lot of excitement surrounding the 16-year-old. He has scored nine goals for the under-18s and under-23s since arriving from Derby.

And it looks to be a matter of time before he is opening his account for the senior side if his maiden appearance is anything to go by.

He played with real confidence. You certainly would have been forgiven for having no idea that he was a 16-year-old making his debut based on his showing.

He also came incredibly close to adding his name to the scoresheet during the second-half.

It is frightening to think about the group of young players Klopp has coming through and knocking on the door at Anfield.

And it really does appear that Gordon could be in contention to be the most talented of the lot.
